Ms Moss was allegedly thrown down a flight of stairs by Mr Depp, according to Amber Heard.
Mr. Depp is suing Ms Heard for $50 million (£40 million) over an opinion piece she published in which she claimed to have been abused.
Hearing Ms Heard’s assertions have been “crazy,” he claimed on the stand.
During the six-weeks trial, the court heard a variety of accounts of what happened between the two during their tumultuous two-year marriage.
Mr. Depp’s side depicted a picture of Ms Heard as an abuser beset by drug use, jealousy, and self-harm, while Ms Heard’s side created a picture of the actress as the aggressor and victim.
Ms Moss, who dated Mr. Depp from 1994 to 1998, said on Wednesday that he never shoved her, but that he once came to her help after she tumbled down the stairs.
“I tumbled down the stairs and bruised my back as I left the room,” Ms Moss explained. “And I yelled because I was in pain and didn’t know what had happened to me.”
“He came sprinting back to aid me,” she continued, “carrying me to my room and getting me medical attention.”
Ms Moss claims that Mr. Depp never shoved or kicked her throughout their years together.Mr. Depp accused Ms Heard of twisting the story “into a really unpleasant episode” when he took the stand on Wednesday.
